Last night in Delhi

The Indian Gate commemorates World War I soldiers who died. There is an eternal flame that is dedicated to the unknown soldier. Notice the secondary arch through the opening.

This road leads to the Parliament.

Silk rug making: One wool knot equals three to four silk knots. This was a cooperation of families that make rugs. For consistency one person works on the rug. In case you are wondering, I did not purchase a rug. :)

This is a plumeria flower, common here.

We walked to the mall across the street from our hotel for dinner. Security was everywhere - just like the airport security system. We could not carry a package into another store. I had tandooran chicken for dinner - recommended from my reading of Rabi Zaccharias. Tandooran is a type of grilling - delicious! The food is not as hot spicy as I envisioned.
Students, this is for you! Notice the negative numbers on the elevator for the floors beneath 0, ground level?
